Buying a salvaged 900 Saab SE Hatchback?
Nick asked:
I'm in the market for a cheap used car. My car runs well, but it's got a lot of millage on it. I found a 900 SE Saab Hatchback at a dealership not to far from me, who will accept my old car for a trade in. They're charging $1,500 for this Saab with only 55,000 miles, and it looks fine except the front bumper is a little rough. I looked it up with CarFax and it was in an accident back in 98, salvaged, then a new owner had it, and drove it for another 20,000 miles over the next three years.
Now it's up for sale,

Does this sound like a good deal to anyone? Or am I going to drive this thing off the lot and right into a junk yard?
It was in an accident in New York,
Salvage Title was issued in San Antonio Texas,
Then in New Rochelle, NY a new owner was reported along with a Salvage Title and Rebuilt title issued.
